Instructions:

To sign the pledge, all you need to do is read over the agreement below, and then fill out the form at the bottom of the page. Under comments you should copy and paste from the contract below what you plan on doing. Then, feel free to answer the other questions! By going green, we can help the earth in such a BIG way! 

I, ___________________, hereby pledge to help save the environment by doing one or more of the following things (Please commit to at least one):   

1. Turn off the lights when I'm not in the room
2. Turn off the radio/ television when I'm not listening/ watching it
3.  Recycle my aluminum/ plastic/ paper products
4.  Plant a tree/ flower
5.  Switch out regular light bulbs for CFL (Compact Fluorescent Light bulbs)
6.  Walk or ride my bike to near by places
7.  Unplug chargers when not in use
8. Turn off my computer at night 

• If you turn off your lights, for one more hour a day, you save 197.1 pounds of carbon in one year!
• If you change 15 regular light bulbs for CFL's you will save 7.762 pounds of carbon!
• If you unplug your chargers for the next year, you will save 15.432 pounds of carbon!
• If you turn off your computer at night, you will save 221.386 pounds of carbon over the next year!
